    I know this may be looked at as unhelpful, but it's always true on value questions: One bid increment more than the second highest bid on any given day, same as any other item. Somewhere sub $100 each, possibly as low as $15-20, is what I would expect unless something significant happened those dates.

    Yes, the first thing you should do is research those games and see if anyone did anything special.

    Clemente hit a HR plus an error and Mays had a hit that game.

    Clemente HR? That must have been an early one! He hit 5 in 1955.

    Lots of Clemente collectors out there!

    Edited to add; This was one of his first 10 home runs. He started the season with 5 and didn't hit any until he hit 3 in June.
