Hello Folks - I have an 8 TF Morgan Dollar that appears to be a VAM.
Having trouble identifying the exact type - Any Suggestions ???
The "LIBERTY" on the headband, date, stars, "In God We Trust"
show considerable doubling
The coin also appears to be semi proof like.
Thanks in Advance

Check Vam 18. Can't verify 100% based on your pictures.
Thanks - I'm also looking at VAM 15 from the doubling on "LIBERTY"
Agree with @Hallco it looks like Vam 18.
Thanks ifthe - yes it is looking more and more like the VAM 18
It's either a vam 15 or 17.
Need better pics of the reverse. VAM 18, 19, and 20 have the same obverse.
The easiest way to tell VAMs 18, 19, and 20 apart is to look at the leaf across from the uppermost berry in the left wreath, and as best as I can tell from the pictures provided, it looks like VAM 18.

I've added some more photos based on your comments -
LOOKS TO BE AN 18 WITH POTENTIAL A 15 ?
VAM 18, period. VAM 15 is two different dies.

Vamworld is a good tool.
I have gone almost blind and batty trying to figure out 8TF reverses even from decent pics.
