This is one of the coins I inherited. What do you think? Is it worth keeping?

It was cut with a saw. What do the edges of the cuts look like?
I recall seeing advertisements for coins like this with similar cuts and the pieces were connected by thin pieces of rubber so that the coin could be slipped into a bottle and it would spring back to round shape. It was part of a magic trick.
Pmd and part of some type of trick or puzzle or gift to three like minded children. Yeah I'd keep it. Peace Roy

Agree with @JBK.
Trick coin.
Other coins can be found in eBay or a general search: https://www.ebay.com/itm/COIN-IN-BOTTLE-REAL-HALF-DOLLAR-FOLDING-MAGIC-TRICK-COINS-US-SELLER-LOW-PRICE-/271834766238
Man made.
Ok so what about these ones ?
The 1956 is damaged. Corrision, maybe from acid exposure. Regardless of the cause, it didn't leave the mint like that
The other 2 coins have die chips. The chip in LIBERTY is called a BIE because it looks like an I. Cool finds, but they are common in wheat cents from the 50s
Ok thank you
