Are any Kobe Bryant cards "skyrocketing" in value?

Pretty much all of them from what I've seen.
Rookie cards and any autos have definitely seen a huge bump. I haven't been tracking, but would guess a lot of the rarer inserts are as well. More common later year stuff seems to be moving faster/more easily, but I haven't noticed significant increases there.
Rookie cards in PSA 10 are nuts. Sold a $40 96 Fleer Metal for $600 within the day it was listed. Topps and Topps Chrome have seen huge increases. Starting to cool a little now and prices all over the place.

they are definitely pulling back in price, as was to be expected...people were paying insane prices...10x the price of what the cards would normally go for
Someone bought my Topps rookie psa 10 for the BIN price about 14 hours before the tragedy. Didnt attempt to make an offer. I had it listed for 2 months. Crazy timing.

I was wondering if they ever got into the $1,000s area. The window to cash in would be small.
I sold my Ultra rookie for $1k just a few hours after putting it up. Listed my NBA 50th rookie but decided I wanted to keep it. Even with the insane prices that card is underrated.

He is my son’s favorite player. He has graded several Kobe cards. He is keeping all, a sad by product is now it prices him out of adding more RCs to his collection. He did get a 10 on a Topps RC last year. Now it has become his favorite card.
