After having had this coin listed on the BST since January 31st with no action, despite what I felt was a very fair price based on the data below, I have sent this coin to Great Collections with NO Reserve. Their listing shows no data, so you might still want to read the below updated information.

The current GC bid is now up to $400.

The coin in hand is much nicer than the photos shown below. Very lustrous, closer in color to slab shots rather than the TrueView.

I am a collector, and not a dealer, but some may argue that point since I am offering this coin for sale to a wide audience.

I recently upgraded this coin in my Registry Classic Commem Type Set.

  1. The new CAC Retail pricing compiled by CDN has this at $494. However, that includes coins with CAC’s graded by both NGC and PCGS. Mine is graded by PCGS.

  2. Here's the auction data for the last 10 sales for those graded by PCGS with CAC's: 5/2019 $840 (this is an outlier, as bidders were probably figuring it would upgrade to a 67+); 10/2018 $408; 8/2018 $384 (this had very splotchy toning); 2/2018 $444; 10/2017 $420; 8/2017 $480; 7/2017 $446; 6/2017 $481 and $470 and $470 again.

  3. On collectorscorner.com, four graded MS67 by PCGS WITHOUT CAC's are for sale at $360, $380, $399, and $495.

  4. On eBay there is one like mine, graded by PCGS with a CAC, but that’s selling for $515. There are three other 1935-D’s graded by PCGS, but WITHOUT CAC’s. Those three without a CAC range in price from $418 to $497.

My price for this lovely coin graded by PCGS WITH a CAC is $395 via regular PayPal (no PP Gift Payments) and includes free USPS shipping. Due to the value, a signature will be required.
