Farthing clipped

Any peculiar reason this farthing is clipped?

I don't believe it's a clipped planchet. Straight clips 180 degrees from each other?? Plus the edge picture appears to be uneven and ground down, not the expected punch and tear look

Guessing it was ground down to try to fit into a sixpence slot machine?

Looks like it was stuck in something that ground down 5-6 separate edge points. IMO Peace Roy
