Teletrade reputable for signed balls? Richie Ashburn Autograph

I bought this ball for $35 and I noticed it had this Teletrade tamper strip on it. It appears to have never been broken. I know they were around in the sports card business awhile back but I don't know much about them. Do you guys know if they are reputable for authentic balls? Also, I am assuming this isn't UV proof so should I crack the strip and put the ball in a UV cube?

autograph is genuine; if you're plan is to resell it, I'd leave it as is (otherwise crack it).

  • Teletrade was an over the phone auction house in the late 90's/early 2000's IIRC. I remember bidding with their robo system circa 1996 or so.

Part of me wants to keep it in the original packaging but I also want to get it in a UV safe cube that securely tacks with the rest of my collection! Argh!

Remember, if you break that seal there's no turning back! ;)
