This 1995 quarter has a stunning reflective field, gorgeous patina, and is a smoky gray.

Could this have accidentally been a proof die used on this business strike coin?

Appears to be a strong strike usually from the first thousands (tens of thousands) to be struck from a new die.
I love the smoky grey color... and the orange toning on the reverse bottom. I've only seen that on silver and copper coins. I know this one's clad. Is it worth keeping, or should it just go back in the coin jar?
It’ll make a nice album coin until/unless you get a better one.
Edit:
P and D are regular strikes.
S is the proof strike.

I have a special jar for coins like thIs.
Probably broken out of a mint set.
