For the third time in the last couple of months I have purchased a PSA 9 card that looked perfect in scans only to discover upon receipt that the card is noticeably warped in the PSA holder. I always assumed that noticeable warping would result in downgrading by PSA, but it seems like as long as the corners and centering are good it is largely ignored. I personally find it a very ugly defect.

Agree - have a ‘67 Whitey Ford PSA 8.5 that is warped. Would post a pic but it is only visible in hand. Not talking about the standard vending curl which straightens out in any type of holder. I am talking about a wavy warped pattern.
@brad31 Exactly, vending curl does not bother me, warping does, and it is very difficult to detect until it is too late.
