What's a low SN note like that worth?

No idea, I love to pull star notes, binaries, trinaries, radars. Got lots of em. Something about numbers is pleasing in my brain. I'll do some research.

Looks like low serial numbers 1-9 are worth a couple of hundred bucks.

So do I. I have a bunch of radars, binary notes and repeaters. I laugh at sellers on Ebay who call their notes binary when there is at least one zero along with the other two numbers. Zero is a digit too. I collect 8s & 7s together. I have over 150 different combinations of these two numbers together. I think the max is 256 or so? Good question to ask mathematicians.

    2 digits in a total of 8 possible locations. 2 to the 8th power = 256.

Should be right, but I'm not a mathematician and still working on my first cup of coffee ;)

Thank you so much for verifying the total as 256. I had forgotten how I arrived at that number!!!. So, if I have approximately 160 variations of the 256 need to complete the collection, I still have a long way to go. It's taken 20 years to get this far. What a crazy way to collect.

160 puts you at 62.5%. The solid 7s and solid 8s are going to be expensive.

Nothing wrong with the your collecting theme. I think we all have a little "crazy" in our collecting habits
