Crossing over from another grader when you already have a CAC green bean

In my efforts to upgrade my Morgan collection, I now try to buy PCGS when I can, but I have a handful of other graded coins.. So after many night viewing and deliberating I am considering crossing two. One is an MS 64 with a CAC green bean. The real bummer here, I already have a PCGS in MS 64 - no CAC sticker.
Curious on public opinion here - should I just shop for a 64 or higher grade, or see if PCGS happens to grade it higher?

To me, it's worth the extra bucks to spend to see what PCGS would grade it at. I was surprised a few times when I did crossovers.....Good Luck!

I have not yet attempted a crossover yet but I do have a few candidate non-PCGS holdered coins with stickers that I often wonder if they would pass. If the set registry over takes my senses I may send them in. Good luck and keep us posted on the results.
Best of luck @GhosOfRudy!
Await your results.
Huzzah! Same grades, but successful cross!

Congratulations, @GhosOfRudy !!! I suggest you send a copy of your paperwork PCGS submission form and PCGS Invoice to CAC along with the coin(s) that had the CAC sticker when in NGC holders. Those coin(s) now in PCGS holders with the same grade as before should get the CAC stickers again, since your paperwork proves it’s the same coin.
