I have a question about AOL Instant Messanger

i just d-loaded AIM and i was adding somebody and i am not sure if i did it right. I added their username and i was just wondering if now my name will show up on there list? this may be a stupid question but i was just a bit confused since i am only used to MSN Messanger.. LMK! Thanks

Nope, your name won't show up on their list until you IM them and they add you themselves.
