Here are a few that I have picked up over the last 18 months at my local shop, plus an Ike. I have the opportunity to help them go through the stuff they purchase and pick up a few interesting, relatively low value XF-AU-BU coins. The lots usually look like they've been packed away for a while, but hard to say exactly how long. I'm sure some AT coins were bought innocently enough by the original owners, and a variety of poor storage has led to some odd/interesting toning. I think the following coins' colors were more a case of mis-storage, but realize no one can say for 100%.

Nice pick ups
Nice coins!
I agree that the colors were acquried due to long term storage. Nice pickup on the 34-D DDO.

Thanks messydesk, I didn't notice that. The image doesn't really capture the true look, its a nice golden toning and just looked interesting.
Do you notice any difference between your NT Peace dollars and the others posted in other threads discussing toned dollars?
Anyone care to describe the difference if any?
