3 bank-wrapped rolls 2007 MT state quarters found in the wild

13 years after issue, and they look great! Cracked one roll open just to verify - and being a Montana resident my whole life, made it really nice!

Any other unlikely "in the wild" finds that you may know of?

Insert witicism here. [ xxx ]

I used to save 2 Philly rolls and trade with another collector for 2 Denver rolls for the 50 state quarter issues (the credit union didn't get any new rolls of the territory issues ) 50 statesx40 coinsx4 rolls each = $2000 tied up. I've been debating taking the common ones (which is most of them) back to the bank and putting the money towards a nice piece of southern gold like an 1851-C dollar. Maybe somebody will get them while CRHing and make their day

I'm not surprised. The State Quarters are a failure as far as the general public and many collectors are concerned. They didn't yield the big profits they expected and are now being dumped back into circulation where they belong.

    All glory is fleeting.
