My wife loves baseball. We have season tickets for the Spokane Indians and my wife loves going.

My wife has more sports interests than me. I obsess on college football. We watch NFL together. And I watch nascar. That’s it. She loves watching golf, ncaa tournament, sometimes NBA - I rarely watch any of that. And she likes Olympics. She’s been to golf tournaments and basketball games without me.
My wife watches a lot of figure skating competitions. Other than that she has little interest.

Mrs will watch football, sometimes. She goes to UGA games with me usually once/year and will entertain watching and root for the Falcons if I'm at the house and not at the bar having a cigar. She's had some Falcons player/coaches kids in her classroom so that's a plus.
Hockey - loves to go to games but we do like 1 or 2 a year - Atlanta Gladiators.
Baseball - she likes going to games but not watching on tv.
Soccer - she loves to go to United games (season tix) and will watch on tv. The fact that her teacher friends go to games and we tailgate with them is a big plus. She'll even watch some Bayern Munich with me if I have it on. Or Juventus, or Italy/Ireland in world cup games.
Basically she'll gladly go to anything, tv is a whole other ballgame, and forget me being able to watch 2 footbal games in one day back to back, drives her nuts. As far as knowing rankings or stats or anything forget it.
