Congratulations Bruce for being the feature collector in the Collectors Corner article. I enjoyed the read. I hope the new challenge is coming along. The last I recall you are down to two. Question Bruce, would you have start the type set if the registry did not exist?

More like "super collector". Not to mention a truly nice guy.

I started the type set because I loved my 1795 eagle which got me started on the set. Would I have been so intense without the Registry - probably not.

    Thanks for the insight.

As you have shared these these pieces of American history with your children have you found that it has helped them with an appreciation for our country's heritage?

For example, I believe it was "Coinage" that has offered features focused upon coins of a specific year or decade and then uses the dates of the coins as a springboard to expand into corresponding historical events.

Hard to believe some of these coins exist outside of museums.

You need some proper slab pictures of that coin. Send it to me and I can have it handled for you. I will also keep the coin safe. Forever.

IMHO, one of the most satisfying aspects of collecting coins from past centuries is being able to actually hold a piece of history in hand.
