Topps MLB Living Set and the steroid guys

softparadesoftparade Posts: 9,281 ✭✭✭✭✭

I was just looking at the overall checklist for the Living Set and noticed that Topps has almost completely stayed away from any of the notorious names from the well known steroid era. That kinda shocked me. No Bonds. No McGwire. No Sosa. No Clemens. No Palmerio. And on and on. I see Robinson Cano on the checklist so the checklist is not totally void. The stuff Cano was caught with .... not sure if it stacks up with the body changing stuff. I dunno. Interesting.

I also noticed the same thing on MLB The Show 19 on PlayStation 4. My son and I play it a couple of times a week and we noticed almost all of those players are absent from the game.
