Outstanding color/ toning has been known to add a point or so.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......9 -

These first 5 comments probably confused you but they are ALL overall correct, even if they sound like a contradiction.
It is not a simple question easily explained. You might need to see a lot for yourself including previous sales, and advice from others. There are many experts and previous threads on this topic.
You seem new - so welcome

No, if it’s NT. If it has an appeal then the toning may increase the grade.
If AT then it should receive a details no grade.
Not always. Eye appeal plays a big part.
Yes
Toning can affect the grade in so much as it's ability to hide blemishes. Technically, color, or lack of it, should not affect the grade. It does affect the 'eye appeal' however.
Thank you guys for answer my questions, Im new to the forum and new to collecting so i enjoy reading all the posts..
I always deduct a point or two for toning/environmental damage. Especially on silver. Nothing worse on a coin.

You should check out PCGSs YouTube. They did a whole series on grading that goes over how eye appeal can effect grade.

NGC will give star designation for exceptional eye appeal and toning where PCGS might give a plus designation for
the same.
As far as I know, toning shouldn't affect the grade.
Eyepopping toning will absolutely result in a higher grade of about a point. Eye appeal is a major factor and if it's honest toning it adds significantly to eye appeal.
