Need help John Brown signature.

Coin guy here but I was sorting a ton of old documents today that i picked up over the years pertaining to Gettysburg PA and Ohio. While looking at them i came across this signature of John Brown. It is dated 11/25-1824 Can anyone here confirm this is his signature?

What I see on the internet the "oh" of John looks correct but i am not sure. Any help appreciated

I only found a couple sigs to compare to and it didn't look good.

Of course, that was no doubt a common name.

I would start by seeing where the JB was at that time to determine if he would have been issuing receipts.

Same here. He would have been 24 at the time and most of the signatures i seen online were a bit different. I wish some of the signatures i seen online were dated but none were. I will put some more time into like you said but i am most likely in the no camp. Thanks for the reply
