Collecting Proof Short Sets

As we know, building a full set of popular coins like Buffalo Nickels, Mercury Dimes, and Walking Liberty Half Dollars can be a difficult, and sometimes very expensive task with key pieces reaching into six figures in price. However, some competitive Proof short sets, like the Buffalo Nickel Proof short set can be completed with as little as eight coins.

May I suggest that PCGS Social Media consider looking into posting a similar thread and linked story about collecting proof coins from 1950 to 1970 and SMS coins from 1965 to 1967.

Both of these niche areas in the hobby provide collectors with a wide variety of collecting choices (brilliant, Cameo, Satin, toned, untoned, varieties or combinations of the above) at price levels that range from a few dollars to five figures.

Thank you very much for the suggestion!
