Card storage question Penny Sleeve to Top Loader

What is the correct order to lessen risk of damage of cards?

1' Insert penny sleeve into top loader then insert card

or 2. put card in penny sleeve and insert in top loader?

3) If you have time to kill, make a slit/cut on the upper right corner of each penny sleeve. This will help minimize chipping on a corner or edge when inserting the card.....especially foil cards, and dark border cards.

I second making a small cut on an upper corner of penny sleeve.

No one laminates cards anymore?

For Grading Submissions , I use Vintage Size Sleeves, easier in , easier out, less risk if edge slicing
