Really only the $5 would be fairly easy to find for near melt.

He wants "graded gold for melt" which I assume means he wants to pay melt for slabbed US gold.

People frequently sell pre 33 graded gold here for melt.

I know it's a tall order, but hey, you don't get if you don't ask.

Yeah, $5, $10, and $20 gold pieces for melt. Very rare to see $1 and $2.5 for melt. $3 for melt will never happen unless the person is clueless. I recently paid $200 over melt for a $3 gold in a bezel (AU details).

On reddit, if you're fast, you can usually find better deals on gold/silver. Silver you can pretty much always get at melt if you're not picky about generic bars/rounds. For gold, I don't ever have an issue getting older foreign gold for melt (ducats, 20 Francs, mexico etc). I've bought $1/$2.5 for melt there before. People sell graded $20's for melt pretty often as well.

Read the rules on the sidebar before you start posting and feel free to PM me if you have any questions or want input on your first transaction(s). I've bought and sold there for 5+ years with no issues (knock on wood). Since reddit is more geared towards younger people, most posts don't have as "high value" items compared to what is listed in the BST. Do your due diligence as well:
