i don't think anyone ever had a prob w/ the pic or subject matter itself.

again, my only issue as stated was that it takes threads forever to load. and i'm not talking from a home computer. i'm talking middle of the airport or somewhere that cellular reception isn't quite the best but you've got time to kill. you might not be there today. but you will one day and i can assure you it's more than taxing on both your time and battery. that's all.
it's basically the equivalent to quoting someone's entire 20 card scan post to just say "nice cards" is all. sure, there's no real rule against it but you usually don't get smiles for breaking down in the middle of rush hour traffic either.
Perkdog is just trying to use this thread to reverse jinx into a Patriots win tonight.

it's moot at this point, perk. the simple fact that "i don't make private polls" says enough as it is. i could start a private poll on the main board stating how annoying is this to see over and over after every 3 word post 20 times a day? and/or over and over while digging through older threads?
pretty sure i'd get some pretty biased and favorable results far exceeding 6. but again, just the fact that you did try to change it to a smaller size further tells us that you might realize the absurdity behind it or at the very least the implications of having such a huge signature pic 21,000 times on the site.
and i surely hope the "i could care less" talk about how your single billboard of a pic might affect hundreds of other users mighta just been you talking outta your dime, man.
it'd be a shame to see you dance around this buddy poll after 4 days like some major victory when you know it isn't and have already tried to change it accordingly. either way, problem is solved on this end but if you wanna keep tossing back witty comments, i've got plenty of time now that the sig pics don't have to download! 😁

You really got me all wrong. I posted this poll to see if maybe I’m being unreasonable thinking that it is a problem for people. Secondly I’m not trying to be “Witty” like you, you were pounding your chest about how much of a solid guy you are by telling me you had a problem with it so it confused me as to why you would suggest I do a private poll?
no. i told you personally that it was effecting people. and specifically me today. others chimed into me personally as to how to solve the problem on this end. in between time, you basically decreed "could care less" that it effected other people and told me i was crying. i've got zero interests in outing anyone's buddies here but several people have enacted the "slash sig pics" options, well, because of you.

So it is Saturday night. The first Saturday night of the new year. Restaurants and casinos and strip clubs are open and I am sitting here reading a debate as to whether a sig line is problematic to forum users.
Sure it is a bit distracting, but perk loves his team and for all we know, tonight may be Brady;s final game. i voted to keep it and figure after a week or two or whenever the Pats season is over, perk will remove it.

if the big Tom Brady picture is your sig-line you should either take it down or size it to meet PCGS forum rules. our moderator, Ms. Boyd made me take down my sig-line a few months ago and it was the US Navy Jack, all because of the size.

technically, Tom Brady was out of a job as soon as the clock hit zero in yesterdays game while Jason Garrett is still technically the Dallas Cowboy's HC because the owner hasn't pulled the trigger on him. none of that is really in question.
what might be in question is which one of the two is "hired" before the other.
I suspect that Brady has a certain amount of control over his situation, he is a "quantity" that is desirable. he also holds control over the decision of whether or not to continue his career. Garrett, on the other hand, has control over almost nothing, if he did he would resign. the problem with that is he would probably sit out the 2020 season or end up on the staff of another HC. his "stock" right now is lower than a snake's belly. to use the old saying, Jason Garrett was given the keys to a Ferrari and he treated it like a Volkswagon.
...and after earning $6,000,000 a year, will be driving off in a Bentley.
Well, Jason La Canfora reported last night before the game that Brady will definitely play next season, but it will be up to Brady to decide where. I don't think Brady will leave the Patriots. I think they'll get a deal worked out for him to stay.
