RIP Don Larsen

90 years old - a nice long life that will always be remembered for an October afternoon in 1956. My son meet him at a spring training game a couple years ago. Don signed his hat and posed for this picture! Don was a prolific signer; anyone else have the pleasure of meeting the only man to ever pitch a perfect game in the World Series?

Shows you what one well timed game can do for a lifetime of legacy. Had that perfect game not happened he would have been a quiet footnote in passing.
