Normally, I would have nothing to do with the Emperor Hadrian, but I did agree with the vendor that the reverse was remarkable. The obverse almost looks like it was some sort of touch piece; I don't recall seeing wear like that, otherwise.

Maybe the fields were smoothed when cleaning it. Nice coin though.
