Got e-mail from the Mint saying both my mint accounts have made three purchases, and now qualify for free budget shipping.

Less than 12 hours into the new year. I gotta watch how I spend my money.... (I did check my order history to make sure no one made the purchases for me... )

Same thing happened last year. They then sent a follow up email saying it was a glitch. Clearly, the glitch still exists.

I got the same email. I did make three purchases with free shipping in the last two days of the year. I was hoping that was the reason.

The free shopping makes it possible to make smaller orders so they can use smaller boxes to avoid those huge boxes that allow the coins to rattle around inside.

I distinctly recall that the very exact same thing happened at the start of last year and (of course) it was a glitch. That was fully noted on this forum at the time (2019).

I will have to go check my mail...

FEDEX is supposed to go to free weekend deliveries. Of course, with the package handoff to USPS will it matter?

Honored. Have not had to pay any budget shipping unless I upgraded to another shipping tier at checkout.

Got the email, but had to pay for shipping on an order today...liars!

Also not liking "Expedited" shipping option seems to be the default. I've eaten that in the past and the Mint won't refund.
