Some really fantastic capped bust coins showing up in this thread. I need to acquire some non-half dollar capped bust conis to round out my collection after seeing examples in here. Thank you everyone and lets keep it up!
I know this isn't quite the looker as others but I was surprised in the mail quite a few years ago with this CBH. It was sent to me as a gift from Carl123 from ATS. It still resides in my collection.
I've had several crackout specialists badger (beg) me over the years to sell this coin to them. They envision cracking it out, removing the original dirt from the surfaces and giving the coin a light bath to "enhance" the luster and then getting it into a much higher graded holder. It has been with me for coming up on two decades and will stay with me for the foreseeable future, as well.

@lkeigwin
That’s a killer bunch of 1813’s! I think I’m seeing triple clashing on the 109 and the 110. Or am I imagining things?
Not a high grade ... but high enough for my budget!

Right! O.110. I think the O.109 is just double clashed.
Lance.
Got this today. Any help on the JR die pairing number would be helpful.
