I did manage to find all the major varieties for the 1820 Capped Bust half, as defined by the 79 piece Major Varieties PCGS registry set. I finally found the Square 2 with Knob this year, it was tougher than I thought! I wish they would drop the 1817/4 for this registry set and add the no serifs E variety for the 1820 instead. Now for my 1820 set...

Edited to add the grades, XF-40, AU-53, XF-45, XF-45, AU-50 top to bottom.

    Nice!
Any reason why you picked 1820? I am looking for a single date to acquire all the die pairs.

1820 is a tougher date and to find nice ones, and the variety’s even tougher imo. At least in my past experience with this date.

I'm doing the much more "simple" date set....and 1820 is one of the dates I can't find just ONE I really like...damn the variety.

So, Congrats on a real good looking accomplishment!!

Thanks for all the props! @Cameonut, this 1820 set is part of my 79 coin set for the bust halves. I'm up to 71 coins in that set now. @Walkerguy21D, I'm not sure on the rarity ratings on these, but from what I know on the ones I have, nothing is tougher than maybe a R2 or R3.

The first 1820 I got from Ebay at a good price due to very crummy pics.
The second 1820 I got from a Stacks auction at a decent price back when their website was so shaky.
The third 1820 was sitting on the DLRC website for quite awhile (has a CAC sticker too). I made them an offer below guide and then some and they accepted it. Of course the coin looked way better in hand than their images.
I found the curl base 2 1820/19 raw over 15 years ago, the 4th coin in the collage.
The last coin (square base 2 1820/19) I got from a recent Heritage auction. I think this variety was tougher to find for me than the curl base 2 1820/19.
