To Grade or Not to Grade.... ('66 Aaron 86 Roy RC 85 Yzerman RC 83 Sandberg 73 Schmidt)

I always get good advice, let's try again. Thinking of subbing these bulk for $10/ea. Worth my time? All backs are problem free.

73 Schmidt RC. Modest corner wear, would love a 6, thoughts?

'66 Aaron. Found this at a show recently, one light edge ding. A 7 would be great. Have $40 to $45 into it.

'86 Roy RC. Have about $45-ish into this one. I don't really see anything wrong with it. How about you?

'85 Yzerman RC. Top cornes have slight wear. Just a potential 8 card? Would love an 8.5 or 9. Have about $20 in.

'83 Sandberg RC. Would love to own an 8.5 or 9 for PC, any chance? Centering good but not great. Have $10 or so into it...

Thanks in advance for your comments/opinions.

I would expect 5,6,8,7,7 as my lows.

Several have possibility of being higher (Schmidt, Aaron, Sandberg), but I set my expectations a bit lower to mitigate my disappointment.

I would still sub them, as I much prefer self-subbed cards for my PC.

    Good Luck!

Nice mid to high grade cards. I think the Aaron might be a little higher than others think, the last 3 in the 8 range. Schmidt is a 6/6.5 to me.

With the caveat that the backs aren’t posted and can always sway grading:

    Schmidt 5
    Aaron 5
    Roy - fisheye under the G? 7
    Stevie - surface wear around Y? 7
    Ryno 8

Hmm, wondering why so many down comments on the Aaron.....To me it looks 6+ shot a 7?

Guessing the thing on the right hand side. Also maybe the dot on the top border as well.

Roy is Topps but can't tell Topps vs. OPC on Yzerman without seeing the back.

6,6,6,7,7 and 7. Nice cards either way. I think you are a mind reader. I was going to start a similar thread looking for opinions on cards I am debating on getting graded.
