Great pull but why do you have it in a safe deposit box?

Are the autographs on the same piece of paper?

  • Thank guys! Yeah, the autos are on the same piece of paper/wood. Beckett just posted an article on the card as well! Oh, it's in the safety deposit box because it is safer there.

Congrats. That is exciting. However...Sell it and cash out while the hype is there! Those signatures are horrible. That is sad that a card maker who must be racking in millions can't pick up decent signatures to be part of their marquee items. I guess they learned from those before them though (UD and Topps both have been shameful as well).

I collect Steve Garvey, Dodgers and signed cards. Collector since 1978.

Great pull. A card that can be the cornerstone of your collection.

Very nice card. I would keep it for sure. I would urge you, however, to not store it in the plastic bag as it could trap moisture in.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

  • Thanks guys! Yeah the signatures do look better in person. For sure. I have it in the plastic bag, but it's not sealed.

Most likely a $3k card. Love the 1/1 thing. Literally can find Cobb/Ruth auto cards. Publicity stunt from the OP. If you have about an hour of spare time.....

This guy is pimping this card everywhere. Now that I actually see it I find it hard to believe anyone would offer 10k for it let alone 100k. Great pull no doubt but not worth anywhere near what the OP is saying.

I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

Panini bought the auto for $2700 and made it into a 1/1 card, which in this case is redundant. It’s worth about $2700.

The dude is like Dale Ball with his fake Shotwell Ruth in hunting for attention. Except he has a card that actually has some value to it. If you have seen him on Blowout, you have to love the self indulging signature line he has added.

Referring the 1st Blowout thread referenced above: After the 1st page, it was obvious where it was headed, so I skipped ahead to page 11.

Thank God posters quoted the "Chapter 2' post on page 11. That was classic.

While I congratulate the OP on his pull, it is sad to see someone make such a fool of himself. I suppose one can get away with that considering the anonymity of the internet. It doesn't work out so well in normal interactions, though.

I hope not. That would be a worse decision than buying a Jason Mars Wagner card!
