The Collectible Room Thread

After a year of saving, I am almost finished with my collectible room. Just a few pics on the wall next and pretty much done. Since many of us spend a lot of time in this hobby, I thought I'd make use of this extra room and make it a hobby related room. I would love to see what some of you have done with your collectible rooms as I'm always looking for ideas.

I've posted these photos before in previous threads. They're old and from around June of 2018, but simple laziness prevents me from taking new ones. These recycled photos should still give you a good idea of my display. Since these photos were taken, some things have been moved, some displaced or replaced, and much, MUCH more has been added. There's shelving set up all around the room, and I even took the door off of the closet and created a bit of a walk in cubby hole with more shelving where I mostly store boxed sets and stacks of graded cards. There is currently hardly any blank real estate at all left on the walls or shelves in this, my "card room", and things have since spilled out into other areas, making this now more of a "card house".
super nice.
Massive collection of almost everything.
what years are the sets and unopened?

Thank you.
Albums contain complete sets of:
Topps baseball 1966, 1968-2019, including the traded sets from 1981 through early 90s (still missing 1982 traded), no update sets included for the more recent issues. A raw 1967 set has been at the very top of "my next project" list for 2 years now, but always gets bypassed for something much easier to accomplish (and less damaging to the budget).
Donruss baseball 1981-1989
Fleer baseball 1981-1989
Score baseball 1988-1990
Upper Deck baseball 1989-90
Topps football 1982-1990
Fleer basketball 1988/89-90/91
Tons of others sets like the random Heritage, Stadium Club, Leaf, Studio, etc, in addition to oddball small boxed sets of Fleer, Kmart, Toys R Us, etc that I like to view in albums.
Besides the aforementioned sets in albums, I have many extra factory or hand collated sets in boxes. Too many to list. Ha!
I've completed a 1975 Topps baseball registry set, as well as a couple of smaller sized sets. I also have many more partial registry sets from the 70s and 80s that I just dabble with here and there.
As far as unopened, my original intent was to only do wax boxes from 1981-1990 or so of the 3 main companies, as that was my personal childhood heyday of collecting. I hit a lull in my pursuit of a complete run, as my interest turned to other things for a bit, all while the price of unopened exploded. So, while I'd like to think I pick them up eventually, I missed out on much of the early 80s wax, still needing:
Topps from 1981-83, 1985
Donruss 1984
Fleer 1984-85
So instead, I've recently focused on a lot of 86-90 wax, rack, and cellos across all companies, with some random 90s junk picked up along the way, too. It'll never really be worth much, I know, but that's not especially the point of it for me.
I like how you have the boxes opened on the shelf. Although if I had those laying around, open like that, I would be tempted to pull packs out from time to time to rip them!
Yes, I prefer to pop the top and display them like I remember them looking in the drugstore or gas station candy aisle, or the local card shop or card show, if you had one nearby. I'm reluctant to pay the premium for a BBCE wrapped item, only to rip the plastic off, though, so those sit, mostly safe from temptation.
Things do get opened on occasion, but it's usually either the lesser priced stuff or something that I have multiples of. Once I do rip the first pack from a box, it IS just a matter of time that the whole box gets opened, though, usually a slow drip of a pack or 2 every couple of days.
have a few more sets in boxes.
A vey nice RC HOF collection.
