If you need better pictures let me know and I will give it a go. Lots of silver and a Columbus coin I did not know I had. One of the members had their lifetime collection stolen and I would like to pay it forward to see if we can get him back in the right direction. PM me and tell me what you want. I will send it to you after Christmas. All I ask is when you recieve it, you send something on to Bearcave.

First come first serve. Will keep it updated as current as my santa duties will let me

Mgarmy, I REALLY do appreciate your efforts. I didn't put that there to get something for nothing. I put it there so you all would know why I have been gone for so long. I had my collection stolen and sold. There is a lesson to be learned here, make sure you have the collection insured and insured properly. With the insurance company you have to tell them it is "old coins" to be paid the amount you have stolen. I didn't make a claim with the insurance company. The insurance can't replace the memories I had with my wife going to the mint and geting the mint & proof sets on my trip to Philly. Anyway, you or no one else has to send me anything, I will make it just fine. Thanks and I do APPRECIATE it!

Ball is in motion Sir. Your situation bothered me through Christmas as it did with other members here. Coin people are a dying breed man. If we can’t take care of our own what good are we. Many members have reached out. I mail out stuff starting Monday and folks will send stuff to you after that. We are nothing if not a trusting bunch...except JM, he is just grouchy 😁

Awesome. I sent him everything I did not give to all the awesome folks who asked to help. Including what looks to be a proof set of Susan b’s in a Capitol holder. Couple proof sets and some other stuff. I also explored pcgs grading gift certificates but struck out. His box was heavy so I am hoping he like it.

Got the box today after work! It was a heavy box but well accepted. I have pictures of the contents if you want to see it. I also got native American coins with a Cardinal baseball card in it today. Very good, the card caught me off guard but I am in Cardinal country! Don't know for sure who sent it,but very well accepted. All in all an EXCELLENT day!

I had the plague on my left leg for the month of October. Missed work that month! Wife got no thrill from it either as she had to change the bandages on my leg.

That is awesome Kathy. Ty so much. Bears collection had sentimental value to him and that we cannot replace but the forum is trying to get him right. I closed it because I needed to get out the coins I Had promised folks. If you would like to mail something out to the bear cave pm me and I will give you his address.

Bear...the real plague? As in Y pestis? Damn man that is some hard core shit right there. I know there are sporadic cases throughout the US every year as well as hanta virus but never knew anybody who had gotten it.

No, ER said it was cellulitis. I had pus filled blisters from my knee to my ankle. Covered front and back of the leg.
