The sky is the limit!

It was only a little more than 2 weeks ago that the 3000th registry set was recorded. Now there are 3332. They are literally pouring in at a rate of more than 18 per day. At this pace, there would be over 6800 by the end of the year, and over 13500 by the end of 2003! Oh well, I guess that after June 30 this frantic pace will diminish - the sky isn't really the limit! Now the prices of RQ coins, that may well be a different story! image

    Gerry;

    I think that the question should be...how much of the current growth in the registry is an illusion caused by the introduction of variety sets, subsets and year sets that are nothing more than recombination of the same coins already in other existing registry sets? If you take a closer look; popular sets such as Lincolns, Mercs and Morgans have accounted for almost none of this recent rapid growth.

    Roger - now you know I'm only kidding - I hope. On a more serious note (image), someone soon will have a chance to register the 4000th set and possible get 3 (or 4) upgrades free. Gerry
