FS: 1807 O.114 Large Stars Capped Bust Half PCGS AU53 CAC

I bought this coin back in 2010 from a high end bust half collector who said it once belonged to Dave Kahn, although I was never able to confirm that. It is currently housed in a Generation 4.5 PCGS holder (2011-2013). It has beautiful golden orange toning covering the entire obverse and reverse with glowing luster beneath, and a ring of sunset colored iridescence on the lower part of the reverse. The surfaces are very nice for the grade. It has an excellent strike with all 13 stars and their center points complete, as well as very nice hair detail on the obverse, and a strong reverse too. It is an early die state without any die cracks on either side.
Overall, a very nice coin, and TOUGH die marriage in this lofty grade, with excellent eye appeal!!!

PCGS pop for the 1807 Large Stars is only 15 in AU53, and CAC has only stickered two others in this grade.
