I just checked on my PCGS submission and it says order was delivered.

Anyone else have a coin still at PCGS 'In Process' and states it was delivered.

The site seems to have a few glitches last night and today after the update. I would check it again in a while. Probably just a Monday morning keystroke typo.

it can also happen when tracking information is falsified through the delivery agent. this happens a lot with me due to USPS. They fudge their numbers for metrics reasons when they dont make delivery - often a day or two.

Mine says the same. If you let your mouse hover over the blue colored segment directly to the left of DELIVERED, it will give the shipping date of 1/1/1900.

If it is like another post, it was probably shipped January 1900 if you click on the blue tab before delivery.

Some people are now filling used Amazon boxes with trash and garbage and putting those boxes on their from porch to get rid of them. :D

I did have a scare a couple weeks ago when my ebay purchase, after an unremarkable shipping history, was marked “delivered/in mailbox”. It wasn’t there. For days I wondered how someone could steal from mailboxes in my neighborhood. $35 late-date Merc in 66+, so not a big loss, but still!

Nevertheless it showed up nearly a week later, without explanation or tracking. Which was great! — but now I still feel insecure about my mailbox.

@TradesWithChops — is this the kind of USPS tracking behavior you’re talking about? I just don’t get how this happens.

Yes. I inquire every time with the manager that works my area. Basically, their work performance is based on how many deliveries they get done in a day. So, if they are behind, they lie and mark undelivered deliveries as complete. Its doubly bad because then your shipment gets de-prioritized until they catch up. Can be a day, or two, or even a week.

One of the delivery guys on my route has been fired for it - but it still happens fairly regularly.

I suspect it was delivered to a neighbor who either returned to PO or dropped in your box.

USPS does not deliver to neighbors anymore, or so ive been told by the regional manager.

Thanks @davewesen and @TradesWithChops. It’s possible if not probable that it was delivered to a neighbor in error. At least that seems more probable then my delivery person trying to juke the stats (as they would say in The Wire).

Congrats to the OP! Cool Walken gif. :)

I live near Baltimore, so maybe my post office people actually are from the wire!!!

--> for what its worth, its happened to me about 8 times this year. In all cases, it was delivery people juicing their statistics and never once did they deliver it to my neighbor.
