Collectors Corner

I have questions about its use for buying and selling.
1. When accessing this site, do you go directly to site or us the link in PCGS coinfacts to look at an individual's coin listing?
2. If going through PCGS Coinfacts link, there are a max of 3 coins listed, what determines which 3 are listed?
3. Do people actually purchase coins through collectors corner, or do you migrate to the individual's business page?
4. Can a seller link their Ebay page to the collectors corner website?
5. For those with multiple ways of selling coins, does collectors corner generate a reasonable portion of sales?

I am not a dealer so as a collector I access that site directly (I've never used the coinfacts link) and do a search for the date I'm looking for. I've never purchased any coin that I've looked for because I've yet to find one that I'm looking for or liked enough to contact the seller on. If I ever do find one I like I would most likely go to that firms business page and proceed from there.

I use Collector's Corner regularly, but tend to refer back to the seller directly. My listings from eBay do pop up on Collector's Corner without any involvement from me (that I am aware of).

I just used it today and found 12 coins that fit my search. Two were of interest but I had already seen them on the dealer’s website.

If I find them first on CC, I generally just call the dealer....... you know, with a phone....... to get an in-hand description. :)

    Edited to add......

And I did call the dealer, and got a description of the two, chose one, and now it's on its way to me. First NewP in a many months.

Collectors Corner is a free ad site for "Can't remember the requirements". All that happens when you buy a coin on collectors corner is an email is sent to the seller. It's most likely far faster to contact the dealer directly if you are able.

I have used it to locate coins and go to the dealer to discuss and maybe purchase.

    I've searched the site.

I’m a collector. While the vast majority of the coins I purchase are via auction, I regularly use CC for two separate reasons:
    1. To search using their great filters for specific coins I’m looking for, whether by date or type, in the grade I want, and holdered by PCGS. It would be nice if they would add a CAC filter. I then contact the dealer directly if I’m interested in buying a coin.
    2. When I’m doing research for bidding on a coin in auction, in addition to researching recent prior sales, I also search CC to obtain real world current pricing on similar coins in that grade.

    Older 2019 thread.

I find CC a good site or tool to locate coins of interest. I have not purchased using CC website market basket, but instead go directly to the seller's website that's linked to do my purchasing.

I have found instances where a coin(s), listed on CC, appears to be available, but are no longer listed on the seller's website. So, there appears to be a lag or a disconnect. I don't want to pay for a coin via third party, if the coin is no longer available. Thus, I go directly to the dealer's website for the coin, if it's available.

Anyone doing this differently when using the CC website?

Is my process cutting CC out of anything e.g. recognition or revenue?
