    It might be a French Franc à cheval of King John II.

    I can see "IOH" on the obverse top right. (for IOHANNES or John).

    Be cautious - it seems likely to me that this coin has had its edges worked on to make it more round.

    I am 95% certain that it is more valuable in this jewelry format than it would be with the holder removed. I know my wife would be very pleased to own it.

    Thank you very much. Yes I believe it has an internal cambur and it has some damage from the prongs on the bezel as well.
