USPS Does the Grand Tour

We've all experienced packages going seriously awry. Today, I had a package coming in from Las Vegas. It arrived at the area distribution center, about 5 miles away, at 1 this morning. But by 4:30 AM, it arrived in Sutton, MA, about 200 miles away!
By 4:30 this afternoon, it had arrived at my local post office. I presume delivery tomorrow, unless it ends up in the next town over. Which has happened in the past.

Been there, done that. Once it was my tax returns that went on a multi-state walkabout. Once it was a check from VA to NY that spent 17 days in Denver. It was coincidentally just when marijuana was legalized so I figured my letter went to a really good party.
