Starter sets in 1936

I found this in the back of the 1936 catalog, Scott Stamp & Coin Co.
Of course, during the Great Depression you could get a lot of cool stuff if you had the cash.
I remember years ago a conversation with Art Kagin, who was a dealer in Des Moines in those days - he couldn't sell $20 gold pieces for $21, but he could sell old paper money.
