coin/token id greek macedonian alphabet ?? sun or star of virgina ??

real mystery piece , maybe just junk !! purchased in a job lot with some other old coins , 4.2 g weight , 26 mm diam. 1 mm thick approx. tried a few different forums , not a single reply !! thanks in advance for any in put regards dave

    Sorry, it doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with. The first picture almost looks like European characters "9 1 S A". Not sure what to make of the second picture.

    Could be a hacienda token, that's where I would start to look. What did it arrive with? Some hop picker tokens from Europe are also this enigmatic.

  • thanks for your reply , it arrived with 1 huviska imitation coin circa 200 ad , and 3 kaniska coins circa 128 ad , plus a early indian princely states low denomination coin , the sun on the coin token should give us a clue ? but anyway thanks for having a stab ,these are the only replies ,over several different forums ,regards dave
