I was in Red Robin near Nashville tonight and this picture is hanging on the wall. It is driving me crazy trying to figure out who this is. I thought it looked like Sam Crawford but he played for the Tigers.
I agree. He bears a striking resemblance to Sam Crawford. What's funny is that I am almost positive I've seen this picture before--probably in a book I've read, but for the life of me I can't figure out who it is.
Thanks. I have heard of him before. He had a couple of run-ins with Ty Cobb. I just listened to an audiobook about Ty Cobb called A Terrible Beauty. It's a tremendous book setting the record straight about how Ty Cobb was not as much of a monster as people make him out to be.

Its Dutch Leonard, a left handed pitcher for the Sox from 1913-1918, later pitched for Tigers.
