That is correct. Make sure you stay up to par on your bookkeeping.. or you'll get slammed when tax time comes and all that sales tax is included in the 1099-k.

You should be able to easily pull those numbers from your PayPal report.
You can create and download a csv file with a column for sales taxes PayPal has collected.
I wonder if anyone has become more sympathetic to traditional retail stores who have had to deal with these things for decades.
I don't know what anyone else thinks about it but IMO, eBay and PayPal dealing with collecting and distributing sales taxes to the various states without me having to do anything is worth the PP fee I'm paying on those taxes.
I have asked them to double my fees as 2.9% seems way too cheap!
I believe, if you take the gross amount of $481.95 and divide it into the PayPal charge of $14.28 you get .0296. A credit card processing fee of less than 3% seems pretty good to me. I am pretty sure that is less than my bank charges.
I have as much sympathy for my competition as Amazon has for theirs.
No where is my thread about this the 1st day ebay started doing it?
I remember being on THAT thread.
