I have an swedish money plate stamped 1736 marked FRS and DALER SILFMYNT
I believe it to be copper.
Just wondering who would know about it, and if it's worth holding onto, or selling it?

Not exactly paper money but I have a few of these myself. Many were recovered from a shipwreck (Nicobar) but this one doesn't look to be a recovered piece. Is the black spot at left a partial hole or just a spot? It shouldn't have a hole.
It should be worth a few hundred dollars. Only you can decide if you would rather have this item, the money or something else that the money could buy.
Sweden had much copper so used these as currency, mostly for international trade. No, they obviously didn't carry these around for everyday use.

Rather than trying to find a buyer yourself, I would consign it to Heritage Auctions where it will be offered to many potential buyers. It will take a 2 or 3 months but will be easy and you will get a fair price.
