PCGS Certifies Chinese Ultra Rarity

At the October Shanghai grading event, one of the privately-owned examples of this rarity was submitted to PCGS for authentication and grading. The head designer and chief engraver at the Tientsin Mint was an Italian artist, Luigi Giorgi. Starting work in 1910 for the Tientsin Mint, Giorgi signed two dies of the 1911 pattern issues. Currently PCGS has certified only two examples of this pattern.

Holy moly that is a pretty dollar.
Neat little signature there. I wonder how many were originally minted.
Very nice
Glad it doesn't exhibit and chop marks. A beauty. Peace Roy
