Another Flaw With the Mint Ordering System...Can't Distinguish Apartment Buildings from Houses

RichRRichR Posts: 3,930 ✭✭✭✭✭

I live in an apartment complex with 2,000 units...and I found out that the Mint's household limit filter can't distinguish between individual units since the entire complex shares the same street address...only the apartment numbers vary.

I found this out the hard way with the recent rush to buy the special American Eagle...with a "household" limit of one!

The U.S. Mint..... on the cutting edge.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

I would be so angry. Get a PO box for the next one! :/

As cameonut said there are so many issues around having a physical address for your coin deliveries that it will continue to be a constant complaining session short of having a smart PO Box.

Now riding the swell in PM's and surf.

I don't think this is a general problem. I have it on good authority that multiple apartments in the same complex can get coins shipped to them.

Do You have your address on 1 Line or 2?

If it is on 2 lines edit your address to: 123 Main St Apt 321 and leave the second line blank.
