pcgs grading

What's the difference in "grading" and "full numeric grade" in box 5? Thanks

  • Hi @porkskinsman

"Grading" is for raw coins (not currently in a grading service's holder).

"Full Numerical Grade" is for the Reconsideration service. The Reconsideration service is where PCGS reviews your PCGS-graded coin in it's current holder and only removes the coin from the current PCGS holder if the coin upgrades by the option you selected. If you select "Full Numerica Grade" the coin would only be removed from the current PCGS holder if the coin upgraded by at least a full numerical grade.

If your coin is not already holdered by a grading service, you would select "Grading."
