1984 Topps Marino & Elway RC. What do you think grade-wise?

Bought raw, hoping to sub and get 8s for my pc. What do you think? Thanks! Pat

    I think you have a better shot at an 8 on the Elway. I don't think you will get there on the Marino.

    Psa 10 and 10
    Sgc 100 and 80
    Bgs 3 and 5

    Most likely 7's due to the corners on the right hand sides. Elway maybe a 7.5. I'm betting they were probably in a set, in a 600 count box at some point. Nice looking cards though.

    This is a pretty good rule of thumb. Thanks for the insight. I’m in that boat and submitting cards that were part of (unfinished) sets in boxes. Seem most coming back 7 with a few 5,6, and 8s sprinkled in.
