The 1881H 'smoothed' half is on Ebay starting at $999 Canadian ($750 US) with no bids for quite awhile.
How come our price here is $2000 US??

Looking at the piece on the certification verification page it says Genuine - AU Details (98 - damage). The slab shows the 'smoothed surfaces' description. This is one of the pieces from the Cook Collection.
George must have been seriously impaired. But judging on some other stuff he did.... well, these were his coins to do with what he wanted.
