I don’t where to start with the nickel

    This looks more like pre-strike damage on the planchet. Perhaps a lamination but on the planchet. See the marks coming from the dome in the same direction. The big flaw is probably a spot that could not fill the die design completely.

    Sort of looks like Monticello is on fire. Front burned and caved in and flames/smoke from the dome being blown by the wind.

    Friday too much caffeine imagination... :D
