If so, I can probably help.

What was the point showing listings with ask prices, not bids?

I meant it as a joke. With that said, the listing shows actual sales and not merely asking prices for unsold pieces (which is why the price is in green and not black on the completed listings page). While not technically an auction, I consider anyone's offer (i.e. the successful buyer's purchase price) to be that person's "bid" or offer. In the same vein I refer to coin dealer offers to buy a coin as a "bid" too.

In this case, it was. However, unfortunately, some (other) people speak about ask prices, actual sales, bids and offers, as if they mean the same thing. And I felt it was warranted to point out a distinction. Jeesh! 😉
